Painted backdrops, legs and borders concealing the wings to the sides, lighting bars above or the stage curtain itself are a few examples of uses of fabric in theatre.  With the vast range of fabrics available an unlimited variety of finishes are possible for any particular project.  Cloth covered flattage, large painted canvasses, projection screens, upholstered furniture and even sparkling star cloths can all be utilised to achieve the required look.

A run of timber frames covered in a lightweight red fabric to be back lit, while the top and bottom borders of the frames are clad with black molten to block any light coming through and provide a clean edge
