Timber has been used in construction for centuries and today it is no different, remaining the primary material of choice for manufacturing scenery.  The properties of timber provide an excellent material for framing and structuring the set while the development of manufactured boards such as Plywood and MDF offer excellent value without compromising strength and finish.  This versatility means that scenic components of all shapes, sizes and finishes are possible.

Plywood formers are spaced apart and secured at regular intervals to create the shape of the circular rostrum.
